Business is Strong!

Business in 2015 has been strong, and we'd like to thank all our customers for their continued support. In addition to our on-going relationships, we've reignited some old connections and made a bunch of new ones. Since spring we've added Milwaukee, WI, Harrisburg, PA, St. Louis, MO, and several southwestern Minnesota and western Wisconsin locations to the list of places we've assisted customers. It continues to be a fun and exciting ride for all of us at Hallfield.

Part of the fun has been the opportunity to invest in our business for our customers. For our engineering & design business, we've add another full-time electrical engineer to help meet the demand for our PC and embedded control systems. We’ve also partnered with a couple MEs and have purchased a workstation and SolidWorks license to expand our offerings beyond modified stock enclosures. These investments are driven by an increase in turnkey equipment and bench top testers, an area we see continuing to grow in the future.

Our programming business continues to show solid performance. We recently added a new electrical engineer and a part-time PLC programmer to our team to help with increasing demand. We've also recently partnered with an experienced SQL Server and Web Services developer to complement and extend our .NET control application experience. Remote connectivity and cloud-based services and storage are making their way into the industries we serve, and we'd like to be a part of that revolution.

Manufacturing has seen an upturn for Hallfield as well. To help with our turnkey capital equipment and UL508A control panel business, we've recently brought on a full-time manufacturing employee to run our shop, assemble panels, and guide our part time shop help. As Hallfield continues to grow, we see this role working its way into design and programming support as well.
